Summary :
"This Tower of Mirrors" explores the gestures and behavior of three individuals as they inhabit and engage the interstices of the contemporary urban built environment. Caught in the interval between the fallen fabric of the urban core and what Frederic Jameson has famously called "postmodern hyperspace", the three attempt to come to terms with the cognitive discord arising from nostalgia and alienation. As they engage this disorienting, auto-reflective space their actions suggest both an imagined connection with others and an extremely challenging if not dissonant relationship with themselves and their environment.
