Summary :
The video "Tour de manège" * is the documentation of an action in which the artist invited thirty older women and men to take a ride on the merry-go-round. For once, the spotlight is turned towards the elderly, leaving them take advantage of a moment of joy that they could not afford any more, because the carousels are normally reserved for children. This opportunity to meet with their peers and break the rules a little is rare and saving and offers the viewer to create an inter generational link by the proximity of the eyes. Does not one says that old age is a second childhood?

This video gives us food for thought on the dimension of time and that of the body and its limits, as well as the place of our elders in society.
* A friend of the artist's grandfather had said about a short affair she had with a man: "we went for a ride on the merry-go-round", this pictorial expression was the inspiration for the title of the video
