Summary :
In the port of Dunkirk, a long asphalt strip separating the sea and the industry: The Digue du Break (Break's dyke1). In this no man's land, young Hip-Hop dancers improvise choreographies, alone or with others. They illustrate, by their movements and the emotions that go through them, the moods and the tumultuous history of the city. The latter has born the war, was rebuilt by work. Today it undergoes with fatalism global crises and ecological disorder. But its inhabitants stay proud, because they have faith in their identity. They stick together, because they want to believe that nothing can defeat them. This dance becomes deep, vital, necessary. It is deployed throughout the city, becomes the resonance cage of the collective memory and of the speech of the inhabitants.
