Summary :
GO FOR IT, MIKE is a video clip parody which recreates the myth of the American dream through clichés of the Fifties, publicity references and media propaganda of the Reagan years. In this tape, SMITH gets good old Mike to incarnate most of the American masculine stereotypes, from the student to a political candidate, also looking at cowboy and train driver characters. To the rhythm of an ironic refrain which repeats itself like the slogan of a candidate, the satire of American determinism (some will succeed, others will fail) finishes with Mike riding off into the sunset, giving a parody of the famous hero of the Marlboro brand.
