Summary :
Pretence is the process of replacing a false referent by its supposed image. Models and copies relativize one another and merge. Farce only allows a single truth : that of its artifice. Simulation is the process which is here at the basis of video writing. But the screen evokes other forms of pretence, like the false replay of a fictional situation through a "gangster" pretext. A practice that is often found in the prominent image system : television.
