Summary :
Stylishly cruising in a tranquil meadow, two young men make eye-contact and are magically transported into a mechanized outdoor discotheque. Taking unnatural acts to their logical extreme, the young lovers engage in highly acrobatic sex under the voyeuristic gaze of several nuns and a teddy bear duo. HEADS OR TAILS is a visualization of binaries : day and night, the natural and the unnatural, the sacred and the profane. "I've always viewed sex as a largely humourous activity. However, my personal experience is always at odds with the more serious depictions in mainstream narratives, where sex is tantamount to a kind of big christian moment. I generally favour more European-style representations of sex, where there's usually a lot of laughing and considerable farce involved. Most (American) pornography is laughable only in the degree to which everyone goes to keep a straight face. HEADS OR TAILS takes a few of the favoured arguments of homophobics and illustrates them to show... two young men tickling each other's toes." (Dennis DAY).
