During one year, Dirk Szuszies and Karin Kaper go with the Living Theatre Company (founded by Julian Beck and Judith Malina, in 1951) to Bayreuth, from Paris to Genoa, where the actors join the anti-globalization demonstrators.
“Resist” shows the progression of the Living Theatre, and its practices that have revolutionized theatre. The film is also a portrait of Judith Malina, the great lady of avant-garde theatre.
