Summary :
Voices read ads found in the "transports amoureux" (love raptures) and "messages personnels" (personal messages) columns of a French newspaper, Libération. Shadows pass by, freeze, and start moving again. Some cross each other, while others are immediately absorbed by the metallic grey background against which they appear. A single set, a place of missed dates, a place where memory and oblivion are convened, where the image of someone else emerges and then disappears, someone we met some day and who is now gone.
This video can be also presented as an installation. Another film set in a "back to back" system, shows an outside view of a shop, "la boulangerie" (the bakery), in which the images of Transports Amoureux were shot. Anonymous passers by, seen in front of the frosted windowpane, pass by, cross one another, and leave the picture.
