Summary :
The aim of this project was to give a new life to the American Cloisters, which were taken from Europe and rebuilt stone by stone in New York, to give it extra authenticity through the satellite transmission of images of a real medieval Church. The project was also to confront two emotionally charged places : the Bronx, and a church that stands two kilometres away from Thaon, a small village in Normandy.
