Summary :
The author left for Riga, then Tallin and Vilnius on the day he heard, Place de la Concorde, that Guy Debord had committed suicide. As he made this trip to the northern margins of the world, to the frontiers of forests where ghostly Teutonic rides take place, he was sensitive to the extreme tenderness of gestures, but also somehow unaware of the world. He came back for the immersion of the manes into the waters of a day of flood by six little weeping widows in black, at the end of the Vert Galant garden.
