Repulsion: Faster is a work dealing with images acceleration and the gradual loss of visibility resulting from it. The opening scene of Roman Polanski's Repulsion, with Catherine Deneuve, is 5 times accelerated to lead to an abstract plastic form modeled by speed and light. Through this system, video shows in a new way, trhoufh the image, topics tackled in the original movie: imprisonment, paranoia, body in representation, auto-destructive process likely to drive everything to its own destruction.
