Summary :
In a café in Tourcoing (North of France), the regular customers talk about the old days around the canal. The inhabitants remember the greatest moments of the Fresnoy, which was a very popular place for entertainment in the neighborhood. These memories mingle with those of fishermen along the side of the canal, in an aesthetic of reflection. The human testimony and the plastic qualities of the image are developed in a poetic perspective.
