This tape presents six video installations made by the author between 1989 and 1993 : "La belle peinture est derrière nous", "Sans titre", "De la peinture et de l'hygiène", "J'ai même gardé mes chaussons pour aller à la boulangerie", "L'incident du bol renversé". These installations are either devices using the image of the viewer, or narratives devised for several monitors. Exhibited in the noblest places of contemporary art (Paris Museum of Modern Art, Venice Biennial, etc.), these installations deal with daily life and artistic creation with humour, irony and solemnity.
