Summary :
In June 1997, more than 50 000 people gathered for a European demonstration against unemployment, job insecurity and poverty, in Amsterdam, Netherlands. This demonstration was the conclusion of two months of European marches throughout Europe that were organized by associations of unemployed people. Winter 1988 : the unemployed occupy the French offices of unemployment insurance and demand a raise of the minimum welfare income. This documentary relates two years in the life of the association AC ! (Fight together against unemployment) in Lille (France), through its local and european actions. We see a European social movement of the unemployed emerge and evolve.
