Summary :
Conceived as a sound and image collage, this documentary makes us discover Jacques Luley's poetic world, his texts, his musics and the numerous artists with whom he has collaborated.
Jacques Luley is a musician that dabbles in everything. He didn't become a musician by chance, but by accident. He first started as an actor, then started writing his own shows, the titles of which are as many scores of the unknown, a mixture of bad taste and puns : "The sun killer", "The harmonium and the goalkeeper", "Trance kamikaze express". His vivid texts, along with his do-it-yourself sound designs, soon capture the attention of Yvonne Taquet, a producer from the French national radio France Culture. With radio, Luley conquers a new medium, and very soon France Culture and France Inter also commission him for a number of jingles and other sound collages. Later, he is introduced into the world of dance and works on choreographies by Jean-Claude Gallotta and then Marie Letellier. Finally, when he is not creating the soundtracks of his friend Joël Hubaut's performances, he writes music for the theatre (Christian Scharetti, Régis Santon, René Paréja, Eric Louviot, Alain Bézu) or for the cinema (Bruno Romy, Abel and Gordon, Philippe Van de Walle).
