Olga, Olga, Helena is built on a text in French read by young Russian women and on images of the actual city of Saint-Petersburg. The film translates into images the temporal gap between contemporary Russia and that of the beginning of the Twentieth century, with a distance which puts the emphasize on that void that cannot be filled in every immigrant.
