LAM COLLECTION - LILLE METROPOLE MUSEUM OF MODERN ART, CONTEMPORARY ART AND OUTSIDER ART

From 1980 to 1986, on the initiative of Gilbert Perlein and Murielle Anssens, the LaM (then Museum of Modern Art in Villeneuve d'Ascq) had an "audiovisual cell". Thus, around fifty videos were produced and carried-out: artists in their workshops, in situ interventions, creative process ... Artists are found there such as Daniel Buren, Edouard Pignon, Joseph Beuys, Mahjoub Ben Bella, Roger Frezin …

In 2013, The LaM and Heure Exquise! become partners with the objective to safeguard this audiovisual heritage. Heure Exquise! assured the digitization of the video collection, thus complementing their catalog. They are now visible online and available for sale and for rent.
