Mozart, Chopin, Albinoni, Rossini, Schubert, Ravel. At the origin of L’Orchestre, six famous pieces of classical music. Each of these pieces, "Zbig" is going to put them into images as a man of theater stages a text or his favorite actor - sometimes as a conductor, sometimes as a magician. The backgrounds are filmed in France, the staging with actors and dancers happens in his New York studio. The High Definition technology enables Zbig to go further in the exploration of the image.
Zbigniew Rybczynski (born January 27th 1949) is a Polish director. He is a recognized pioneer in HDTV technology, and in 1990 he produced the HDTV program L’Orchestre for the Japanese market, which gave him an Emmy Award for the best visual effects. The program was broadcasted in standard resolution by PBS in the United States. It was not until a decade it could be seen by a large number of people.
